I have had a good life, raised my children, and am satisfied that I have done well. In the past few years, it has beed bestowed upon me the opportunity to share what I enjoy doing.
All my life I have been around fabric, thread, yarn and sewing notions. As a young girl I would get my grandmother's blue cookie tin out and play with the assortment of buttons, sorting them by size or color. I remember there were three burgundy glass buttons my grandmother strung on a piece of twine and put around my neck. I learned a a few things that day; there are different hues and shades of color, the difference between thread and twine and that you can make something beautiful out of any object.
The ability to create something unique and custom made with my hands brings me joy. Whether it is beading an ornament, sewing a felt mouse or making a "putz house", the process from thought to finished item is a wonderful journey. I would love to share my creations with you and bring some happiness to your world.
